What’s it like to be in a group? Well…awesome! You are surrounded by people who are working on a similar issue with different perspectives that provide you the opportunity to see things from another view. It also takes us out of our box, feeling like no one else has experienced what we have experienced or cannot understand where we are coming from. It gives you the opportunity to reach out and connect with another human being (or 4 or 5) to remind all of you that you are not alone.

We enjoy running groups and having people connect on a common theme. Throughout the year, we provide various groups.

Most of our groups incorporate therapeutic writing of some sort because we find that it provides an opportunity for people to dig deeper in a shared space. We often use readings or poetry to discuss an issue the group is addressing such as trauma, grief, anxiety or perhaps some life transition.
