What is CPT? Cognitive Processing Therapy(CPT) is an approach where we address the beliefs and as a result, the behaviors, we now carry as a result of the trauma we experienced. This approach provides us an opportunity to challenge our beliefs about ourselves, others, and the world around us.

What if someone told you about a type of therapy that could help you work through unhealed trauma in just ten sessions? Some people knock through it in two weeks. Jaime Lowe tried the therapy—and recorded it.

FAQ

How many people are in the group?

Typically a group will consist of 6-8 members.

Is this an open group where people can come and go?

No, this is a closed group. The only people who participate are the ones that started in Week 1. There is an expectation that if you sign up for this group, that you will commit to the 13 weeks. It is a process and and we build on what we are learning and doing each week. If you know you can’t make the 13 weeks then you should hold off until you are ready to do this.

Do I have to tell the group about my trauma?

No. We work on the beliefs that have changed as a result of the trauma. That is what we are talking about and working through. The reality is, we can’t do anything about the trauma, it happened and we can’t change that but we can change how we view ourselves and the world since it occurred.
